The PCMSO (Occupational Health Medical Control Program) is the set of procedures that must be adopted by companies in order to prevent and diagnose early damage to health resulting from work.
The PCMSO can only be performed by physicians from the services specialized in safety engineering and occupational medicine, the company's SESMT, and performed by a responsible coordinator.
To identify these risks, it must be compatible with the PPRA – Environmental Risk Prevention Program. PCMSO was created on December 29, 1994 with the reissue of NR 7 (Regulatory Norm 7), of Ordinance 3.21478 of the Ministry of Labor.
