According to  MTE, work at height is considered to be any activity performed above 2 meters from the floor and with a risk of falling. This definition is the basis of Regulatory Standard 35, which establishes the minimum requirements and protection measures for the activity. Recent data from the MTE indicate that falls from heights represent 40% of the percentage of accidents involving workers in the country.
